Anthropic、AI技術者1万人の育成に1億ドル投入へ
- Anthropicは10月2日、Claude Frontier Academyを発表した。1億ドルを投じ、2027年末までに企業でAIを実装する技術者1万人を育成する計画だ。
- 同社によると、Accenture、Bain、Deloitte、McKinsey、Morgan Stanleyなどの技術者が初期の研修に参加している。
- 対面研修の合格者は、自社のClaude導入案件に12週間取り組む。最初の修了認定は2027年初めを見込む。

Amazon、米データセンター立地地域支援に10億ドル超を投入へ
- Amazonは10月2日、米国のデータセンター立地地域を支援する「Built Together」を発表した。既存の取り組みに加え、5年間で10億ドル超を投じる計画だ。
- 同社は資金を教育、職業訓練、エネルギー費用の軽減、水資源保全、住民が選ぶ地域の課題に充てると説明している。
- Amazonは地域との関わり方を定める建設・運営原則も示した。支援の募集方法や開始時期は地域ごとに異なり、全地域での一斉開始ではない。

Cloudflare、判断特化モデルを公開 TypeSafe AIのJevに追随
- WSJはTypeSafe AIのJevに追随するモデルの広がりを報じた。Cloudflareも10月1日、判断用モデル「Clef」と「Clef-flash」の公開を発表している。
- TypeSafe AIが9月15日に公開したJevは文章を生成せず、選択肢や点数、確率を返す。ソフトウェア内の分類や判断に使う設計だ。
- Cloudflareは両モデルをWorkers AIで提供し、重みも公開した。JevのAPIとの互換性や速度・性能の優位性はCloudflareによる説明だ。
