GoogleとConstellation、原発11基の出力増強で電力購入契約
- GoogleとConstellation Energyは10月6日、既存原発11基を増強し米PJM送電網へ890メガワットを追加する20年間の電力購入契約を発表した。
- 対象はイリノイ、ペンシルベニア、ニュージャージーの3州で、Constellationは設備改良に43億ドル超を投じると説明している。
- 最初の増強は2028年を予定し、ConstellationはGoogle CloudやGemini Enterpriseを導入して発電設備の運用や電力網保護に活用する方針だ。

DeepSeek、資金調達規模を最大1000億元へ拡大検討
- CNBCとBloombergは10月6日、DeepSeekの資金調達額が当初目標の約500億元を上回り、最大1000億元に達する可能性があると伝えた。
- CNBCによると関係者2人の証言として、政府系や企業系の投資家から同社へ強い関心が寄せられている。

韓国、銀行へのサイバー攻撃を本格捜査 AI利用の兆候も
- 韓国警察は10月6日、銀行などへのサイバー攻撃の本格捜査に乗り出し、李在明大統領も閣議で一部攻撃にAI利用の兆候があると表明した。
- Shinhan BankやKB Kookmin Bankで前週に情報流出が相次ぎ、WSJは中国開発のArtex AIの痕跡が見つかったと伝えている。

SierraとMeta、個人AIエージェント共通規格の策定を発表
- Sierraは10月6日、Metaと個人AIエージェント向け共通規格Personal Agent Protocolを開発すると発表し、ShopifyやStripe、Walmartも参画する。
- Sierraによれば、利用者がエージェントへのアクセス権を決め、企業側が許可する行動やウェブサイト、APIなどの接続方法を設定する仕組みだ。
- 最初の仕様v0.1と参考実装は10月中の公開を予定するが、決済機能の拡張は今後の構想段階で、規格自体の完成版提供ではない。
