Meta、Mac対応のオープンAIモデル「Muse Spark Open」公開
- Metaは10月15日、AIモデル「Muse Spark Open」の学習済みパラメーターを公開した。AppleのM5 Ultra搭載Mac Studioで動作する。
- 同モデルはコード作成や複数手順を伴う作業向けで、Macでの実行にはメモリー512GBのMac Studioを2台使う構成などに対応する。
- 開発者はモデルをダウンロードし、自前の設備で実行や調整が可能だ。商用利用にはMuse Model Licenseの条件が適用される。

米9月卸売物価が1.3％上昇 エネルギー高で22年3月以来の伸び
- 米労働統計局が10月15日に発表した9月の生産者物価指数は、季節調整済みで前月比1.3％上昇し、2022年3月以来の大幅な伸びとなった。
- エネルギー価格が前月比10.8％上昇して財価格の上昇分の8割超を占めたほか、食品・エネルギー・商業サービスを除く指数も0.5％上がった。
- FRB幹部は追加利上げを急がない姿勢を示してきたが、前年同月比の上昇率は6.3％に達し、2022年12月以来の高水準となった。

ネット広告経由の「ゼロクリック」スパイウェア、政府による利用が判明
- Citizen Labは10月15日、利用者のクリックを必要とせずネット広告を通じてAl Jazeeraの端末にスパイウェアが侵入したとする調査を公表した。
- 2024〜2025年に少なくとも45台が標的となり、調査ではイスラエルのDiscover-Techの広告配信基盤とCandiruのスパイウェアが結び付けられた。
- 広告は選ばれた端末にのみ攻撃コードを送る仕組みだが、広告の表示だけで攻撃対象になったことや感染したことは確認できない。

- 企業の支出管理を手掛けるRampは10月15日、18億5000万ドルの資金調達を発表し、企業評価額は600億ドル（約9兆6000億円）に達した。
- Dragoneer Investment Groupなどが調達を主導し、Rampの年換算売上高は20億ドルを超え、顧客企業数は8万5000社に上る。
